Herra Terra – TOUR TIPS

Electronic/rock band, Herra Terra, have written a set of helpful Tour Tips for you guys to learn from. You can check them out after the break.

1. Stay Healthy: Gas station food and rest stops have horrible food. Stock up on fresh fruit, nuts, veggies, and trail mix to stay healthy and get your protein!
2. Be Safe: Always have another person awake in the van besides the driver. The driver gets to pick the music but another person should be riding shotgun talking to them. Consider it bonding time.
3. Stay Hydrated: Sure you’re in a bar every night of the week, but drink water throughout the day. Keep a big jug of water in the van, keep a reusable bottle on hand to refill wherever you can, or get a case of bottled water to keep stocked up in the van. Not only does this keep you hydrated, but also helps flush out your system from that shitty food you ate last night. It also helps out your immune system.
4. Design/print out a bunch of Stage Plots for the sound person. They will appreciate it and will be willing to make you the sound best because of your professionalism.
5. Get baby wipes, for those days you don’t get to shower, baby powder (or gold bond) to keep it fresh, and flip-flops for when you end up showering at a filthy truck stop.
