hurst - DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, indie pop artist Hurst reveals who he would want on his ultimate tour lineup. You can check out his picks below:

If I could handpick a lineup of my favorite artists for a tour? Gosh, that’s a hard one. There are so many fantastic artists I love and admire, but without a doubt, there are a few I’d love to be on tour with. Here’s a look at who I’d bring on the absolutely ideal tour with me:

Jesse McCartney
Undisputed king of my childhood. Truly, watching Jesse’s career and listening to his music as a kid was a huge part of my own musical journey. Picture this: the lights off, energy roaring, crowd chanting his name. The intro to "Leavin’" starts, and the crowd goes WILD. Cap off the set with "She’s No You" and throw in "Why Don’t You Kiss Her?" Game over.

Omar Apollo
I’m a huge fan of Omar and his music. The Ivory album had me hooked for an eternity (still hooked, btw). I’ve got every single album of his in my vinyl collection at home. Kick us off with “I’m Amazing” (yes, Omar, you are) and “Tamagotchi.” Take us into “Evergreen” and “While You Can.” Leave me reeeeling.

Leon Bridges
There’s nobody like Leon Bridges in my book. Play any song, and I’ll melt. The vibe, voice, lyrics, energy—it’s all top-tier. I’d definitely slip him a note backstage requesting some of my favorite songs like “Motorbike,” “Why Don’t You Touch Me,” and “Beyond.” Send me to the stratosphere, Mr. Bridges!

Ben Platt
King of my little emotional heart. I adored his album Sing to Me Instead, but Reverie had me going insane. Watching Ben perform is a gift—his vocals leave you stunned, his lyrics make you feel seen, and his music makes you dance your ass off (or cry—one of those two). I’d like to think he wrote the first single off the Honeymind album, “Andrew,” just for me. ;)

Joni Mitchell
No question, Joni is my final act. Joni Mitchell is royalty in my mind. Some Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter (specifically “Jericho”), “Both Sides Now,” or literally anything from the Blue album would make me go wild. And by “wild,” I mean profound emotional instability.

This tour would be a dream. I’ve had the privilege to see some (but not all) of these artists live, and I know without a doubt their sets would blow me away.

Jesse, Omar, Leon, Ben, Joni—if you ever want to make me the happiest boy in the world, you know where to find me.
