Artists you need to be on the lookout for, if you haven’t already, are Sirah and K. Flay. Catch them on tour now with Icona Pop and you will not regret it. These two are definitely making a name for themselves.
Starting off the night was Sirah. Some of you may know her from work she’s done with Skrillex but this little one has so much more to offer. Tearing up the stage from the moment she came out, even with little people in the venue, they were really into her set. I suggest checking out her mixtape, C.U.L.T., to see just a piece of what she’s about. Some of my favorites are “Up and Down”, “My City” and “Double Yellow Lines”. After the show she was by her merch table taking pictures and thanking everyone for coming.
K.Flay is also someone else you should give a listen to. Her energy on stage is crazy and her Dj is just as insane with the both of them jumping around, head banging, and pumping everyone up. Check out her songs “Fucking Crazy”, “We Hate Everyone”, “The Cops”, and “So Fast, So Maybe”, which are just a few of my favorites from her. After the show she too was by her merch table giving out stickers and taking pictures with everyone.
When it came time for Icona Pop to perform, the lights went off and they come out in white and black outfits. Opening with “We Got The World” and performing nonstop, including new songs and hits such as “Top Rated”, “Ready For The Weekend”, “All Night”, “Nights Like These”, “Girlfriend”, and of course their hit single, “I Don’t Care, (I Love It). They had an amazing light show and incredible energy throughout the show. I loved how thankful they were to their fans with bowing to the crowd at the end and even going into the crowd and hugging the fans during the set. If you haven’t seen them live yet, you are in for a real treat.
The Iconic Tour is not one to pass up if it is coming near you. All the artists on the tour are great live and very supportive of each other.
