The metal band, Issues, were recently in Chicago with their “Monster Energy Outbreak Tour” with Crown The Empire, One Ok Rock and Night Versus, at the House of Blues. You can check out our review and gallery, after the break.
Ending the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour in Chicago, Issues, Crown the Empire, One Ok Rock, and Night Verses closed it out at the House of Blues.
First up was Night Verses. Even though this was an early show, there were still a bunch of people there which was nice to see. Night Verses were very energetic and it showed in the crowd when they responded with all their crowd surfing and singing along. They got the people pumped up and ready for the next bands to come.

Up next was One Ok Rock. This is my second time seeing them and I can honestly say they are one of my favorite bands to see live. The whole band has this crazy, upbeat energy throughout the entire set. Keeping the crowd jumping to songs such as “Cry Out”, “Decision”, “Mighty Long Fall”, and others, everyone was off their feet. I was also surprised by how many people knew their songs and were singing along.

After them was Crown the Empire. They have yet to put on a show where I don’t see the crowd getting worked up. With everyone crowd surfing and circle pits forming, they know how to put on a great show. They make full use of the stage, running around, and are always pumped. Playing songs such as “The Fallout”, “Johnny’s Revenge”,” Memories of a Broken Heart”, ”Voices”, and more the crowd did not seem to want them to end.

Headlining the Outbreak tour was Issues. If you have never seen Issues live, then you are missing out. Having even a wall toward the back of the stage as part of their set up, at times during the performance, some of the members would climb it to sit or play their instrument on top of it. Making sure to play fan favorites such as “Hooligans”, “Love, Sex, Fire”, “Princeton Ave”,” Mad at Myself”, “Never Lose Your Flames”, and new ones, the crowd could be heard singing over Michael and Tyler’s voices.

The Monster Energy Outbreak tour lineup was a great one this year. If you were able to catch a show, count yourself lucky to have been a part of such an amazing night. All the bands put on a great show and seemed like they were having fun on stage as they played.
