My dream tour would be all of my favorite singer-songwriters in one place… a Sad Girl Party! I think singer-songwriters have a special ability to convey emotion, since they are usually writing about their own experience, and they’re able to connect to their audience on a new level. Bring your tissues and stock up on a carton of your favorite ice cream – readily available at the concession stands!

To open the show, I would absolutely have Gracie Abrams kick things off. Her soft, airy vocals are the most inviting, and her lyrics are emotional, with melodies catchy enough to keep an audience engaged. The entire vibe of my dream tour would be very chill and intimate, and Gracie would be the perfect opener to get the audience ready to sob all night long!

Next up is my favorite writer of all time, Julia Michaels. From the time I first started in the industry, Julia has always been my biggest inspiration. She has this innate ability to write lyrics so relatable you start to think she might’ve stolen your diary and written the song about your own stories. Her catalog has a wide variety of upbeat pop hits, and also some incredibly well-written and emotional ballads. She would not only be second on my dream tour lineup but would also be my best friend backstage. :)

It’s time to get in our “feelings” and “slow” things down with shy martin! With her latest EP literally being titled “Sad Songs”, we can’t go wrong with her for our Sad Girl tour! A voice like a warm hug and lyrics like a stab in the heart, the juxtaposition of shy martin has always been one of my biggest inspirations, and I dream of one day working with (and touring with) her!

Next up… me! Of course, I would love to be in the audience watching all of my favorite artists perform, but singing my tracks amidst these gals would be the biggest dream come true.

It’s time for the final act… and we can’t have the ultimate tour of singer-songwriters without Taylor Swift! Specifically, she’s next in the line up so I can hand her the microphone myself ;) Taylor knows heartbreak “All Too Well”, and can get the crowd feeling every emotion in the book in a matter of 10 minutes. Tracks from “Folklore” and “Evermore” would probably fit best for our Sad Girl Extravaganza, but hey, if she wants to throw some “Reputation” hits in there, I won’t complain!
