Jeremy Shayne – DREAM TOUR

If I had to chance to assemble a Dream Tour with an elite lineup, there are only a couple of real performers that stand out to me.

Jon Bellion would definitely be my top choice to go on tour with. He really knows how to put on a show and keep the crowd engaged, I feel like I could learn a lot from him. He also manages to change a lot of the records into an alternative style, that keeps the audience on their feet and all ears. He is already going on the third leg of his tour, the stamina this guy has is astonishing. Jon is a natural born performer, he can bring a lot to the tour.

My second pick would have to be Coldplay. This legendary band illustrates their music so vividly and visually on stage. Chris Martin brings such a humble, truthful vocal to the mix every time he performs. Their cinematic flair is something I definitely pride upon in my own music. Orchestral sets will forever have my heart.

It’s really easy to keep to yourself before a live set. I tend to get quiet, go to a quiet room and work on some vocal warmups, maybe run through some of the songs. Staying hydrated is definitely important. I would say I drink about 5 water bottles throughout the day before my performance.

After I warm up my vocals, I usually go and interact with everyone in charge of the show make sure that everything is set correctly.

Then, of course, I get excited and pumped to perform so I go outside and meet fans outside in line. If I’m opening I usually just introduce myself and tell them I’m the opening act and I hope they enjoy the show!

I definitely get anxious right before a show but as long as I’m confident in myself and I have rehearsed my set, I know everything will go fine.
