I can’t think of a better guy singer to tour with than Michael Buble. I have a jazz background, and he knows how to sing with a big band, as well as smaller groups. I like to use rich harmonies and he knows how to sing over those kinds of harmonies very well. The thing is he can do an uptempo piece great, and then settle into a beautiful ballad with all the feeling you’d want.

And then, since this is a dream, I’d want to be there with Aretha Franklin. She’s just the best. I’ve often wondered what this singer or that singer would do with my songs – their take on them. I’ve never heard better than Aretha taking a standard tune, or a new one, and making it her own in a great and beautiful way. It’s sad that this will only happen in my dream, but maybe there’s another Aretha out there ready to take her place on the stage!
