JT Woodruff of Hawthorne Heights – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

The lead singer, JT Woodruff, of the rock band, Hawthorne Heights, has a crazy story from the road for you. It takes place while the band was on tour in France. You can read JT’s story, after the break.

“We were touring France for the first time and our Sprinter broke down right after our show in Paris. We were supposed to spend an off day strolling around Paris and drinking coffee at the Eiffel Tower, but while driving back to the hotel, something went wrong with the vehicle.

So instead of having a leisurely day, we had to run frantically to grab a train for Lyon. The train ride was beautiful, and took the stress away for a minute. We hopped off the train and immediately got a cab, so we could make it to the show, which was on a boat.

So we traveled by automobile, train, and boat, all in France to play a show. We then spent three days in Lyon, France, with no change of clothes and zero ability to speak French, but in the end we found one of our favorite cities in the world. We also made some lifetime friends.” -JT Woodruff
