Justus Bennetts – FIRST CONCERT EVER

The Def Leppard & Heart concert with my dad back in Washington State served as many firsts for me. Not only was it my first concert ever, but it was the first time I saw a pair of boobs, and the first time I ever smelled marijuana. I was 10 years old and completely shocked by all of these new experiences.

My dad loved Def Leppard and especially loved the entire scene that came with rock music so getting to tag along with him as a kid meant a lot to me. I’ll never forget the feeling of the crowd when they played “Pour Some Sugar On Me.’ And as a big fan of rock music, it was incredible to witness the drummer with only one arm, drum with his feet, and completely kill it.
