Kelvin – DREAM TOUR

Recently we have collectively been working on the stage crew for some artists – Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay to name a few. It’s mental how much goes into these shows that nobody really knows about. Now we feel like we have an incite into Stadium Touring and it’s more than just turning up and plugging your instruments in.

Creatively we all have different interests; go and ask Mike what Jent music is, I don’t even think we all still fully understand! But anyway, a dream tour can extend to a couple of things – our own or somebody else’s. If we were talking about somebody else’s, then I think it would be a collective decision of Kings of Leon.

Kings of Leon have been an influence on how we work as a band. I remember listening to them when they had just released their third album, “Because of the Times” – probably still my favorite album. When you’re a musician you begin to idolize your favorite group in how they work and your mind starts to wander of how amazing it would be to go on tour with them.

But I mean, that’s all very good and well but our dream tour isn’t somebody else’s it’s our own. We have massive aspirations of where we want to get too and working on the crew for stadium touring bands only makes us hungrier. Massive outdoor stadium shows sold out across multiple dates with a crew of 40 people making sure everything runs to perfection – that’s where we want to be.

We wouldn’t want to sound egotistical about what a dream tour would be, but we are taking a page out of Noel Gallagher’s book: “if you don’t want to be the biggest band in the world, you may as well pack it in.”
