Being a part of a family duo, we are so similar in personality, yet so different in how we prepare for a show.

I, Dustin, have a strict vocal warmup routine takes about 30 minutes to complete that I like to do prior to going out on stage. I also like to use a steamer before performing to provide extra hydration to my vocal cords. Ryleigh, is more of a relaxed, whatever happens happens person. She enjoys a can of red bull before going out on stage, does just a few lip trills or sirens to loosen her cords a bit, and she's ready to go.

We both like to have a few minutes where the two of us are alone right before stepping on stage, a part from our band or anyone else, where we can get in sync mentally and prepare ourselves to give the crowd a performance that showcases the best of our abilities. We're both words of affirmation people, so we pour positive words into each other right before stepping out.

Finally, we like to get our band together and say a quick prayer expressing our gratitude for being able to use our gifts in the ways that we have been blessed to, and highlighting our appreciation for the opportunity to play wherever we may be that night.
