JOHN MAYER
Jon and I both love Mayer – Although we disagree on which album is our favorite, Jon’s is Continuum mine is Battle Studies (unpopular opinion I know…), we both agree that Mayer is one of the best writers out there. I mean who doesn’t love ” Slow Dancing in a Burning Room.” To go on tour with him may not make the most sense because of the difference in sound, but since we both love him and this is a dream tour scenario, he’d definitely be awesome to hit the road with.
THE KILLERS
One of the greatest bands ever In my opinion ( Tye.) Everything from “Dustland Fairytale” to “Mr. Brightside,” each album is great but uniquely different from the last. They have a way of feeling so personal and vulnerable, yet this air of cool that is so effortless. Plus, they’ve had so many hits that at this point they can just play all of their singles and they’d have a full set. I also think Brandon Flowers has one of the most captivating voices in rock and opening for them would be incredible.
QUEEN
While some may disagree (Jon) and think that Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band in history, they are wrong. Queen is indeed the greatest. A lot of my vocal styling is from growing up listening to Freddie Mercury sing at the top of his lungs in my dads Dump Truck. I wish I was alive at a time when I could see Queen in the original line up. From style, to voice, to writing, to bad assery, Queen is it.
