Kobra and the Lotus – 2nd ROAD BLOG from KISS’ “40th Anniversary Tour” with Def Leppard

The hard rock/metal band, Kobra and the Lotus, are currently on KISS’ “40th Anniversary Tour” with Def Leppard. While they are out on this tour, the band will be doing an exclusive blog for us. You can check out the second entry, with pictures, after the break.

What’s up every body! It’s been another week of Rockin’ n Rollin on the KISS/Def Leppard tour and we are loving every second of it!!

Moving onto Texas, we got the heat turned up on us and a whole lot of wicked BBQ!! It’s hotter then hell playing in the amphitheaters in the sun down there but we can promise you this… we stuck to our “Game Plan” and we still gave it all; we were drenched when we got off the stage.

Some of the guys were sick from sun stroke including a close call for our Bass man Brad. During the second last song in Arizona, he threw up in his mouth and managed to barely keep it down until the end. Whew rock’n roll! It wouldn’t be a rock show without a little sweat and chaos. Continuing up the East side, we played in the Bathtub of people that makes The Nashville Bridgestone Arena. What an unreal arena…built with seats from the very floor all the way to the ceiling,that place feels totally alive once you’re inside it with the audience. AMAZING!! We had our first epic “trip over the monitor onto your back” on stage that night (said person will not be named) but it was a killer night all around. Nashville’s got some magic in that city that’s for sure.

Moving on up into Carolina, we’ve been having a consistently great time and gaining pounds daily from the epic catering. We’re heading into Alligator territory now. Check back in with us as we make our way up to Florida, New York and last but NOT least…the homeland, Canada!!! METAL ON \M/
