Last Letters – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the pop punk artist, Last Letters, reveals who they would want on his ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

My dream tour would be to open for the Pop Disaster Tour 2 (if that ever became a thing!). I got to attend the tour in 2002 and it blew my freakin’ mind. My dad brought me to the Mansfield, MA date and I got to see LITERALLY all my favorite bands in one night.

If you’ve ever listened to my songs, I’m sure you could pick up on the fact that Green Day and blink are massive influences of my writing; from the guitar tones to the fast drumming to even the vocal inflections. I may have taken a few notes from both bands with my more recent material, but at the same time, my first ep ‘Nothing to Write Home About’ was inspired by that early golden age of pop punk.

Jimmy Eat World and Saves the Day were also on that tour and that would only add to the sweetness that was the Pop Disaster tour. Maybe someday! I believe Green Day declined the offer when blink asked a few years ago, but who knows.
