In this Dream Tour segment, the singer-songwriter, Lee Cole, reveals who he would want on his ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.
There is literally an endless list to the artists and bands I would love to tour or would have loved to tour with. First things first, I would tour each part of the world with a different set of artists. So let’s break this down:
Seeing that I’m from Africa, a tour of Africa would be nothing without artists that formed my roots. Johnny Clegg, Brenda Fassie and Mafikizolo would all be artists to join me in one big tour bus. Coldplay and The Script would join us on this tour as we perform in Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, etc.
Doing one big Euro tour has always been a dream of mine. For this one, I would bring along Lewis Capaldi, Sam Smith, Adele, and Queen so we could sing a whole bunch of Soul and Pop to innocent bystanders.
North & South America:
2 of the biggest continents calls for an even bigger roster. For this tour, I’d be bringing back a legend: Michael Jackson, who joins me together with Shawn Mendes and Bruno Mars. These artists formed some of the most influential figures in my songwriting career.
Partnering up with One Republic, we would tour the whole of Asia while attempting to do the best cover version of Gangnam Style you’ve ever heard. Sidenote: One Republic is also my favourite band.
Last but not least, Lorde and Maroon 5 would accompany me on one last tour around Australia and neighboring countries.
