This is such a difficult question but I think my dream tour would have to be with The 1975, Billie Eilish, and Arlo Parks. Bit of a long list but I’m so heavily influenced by all these artists I had to put them all. Each of these artists has inspired the sound I developed in my most recent EP called ‘L|A’. They all bring something so unique and beautiful to the music world and it would be an honor to work/tour with any of these artists.
The 1975 have been my favorite band since I was younger. Matthew Healy is probably one of the best songwriters in his field. The way the band performs live is so electric and vibrant. They keep you so emotionally and physically engaged. The way they design their setlist too is beautiful. Each song transitions so smoothly and it’s so refreshing to watch.
Billie Eilish is another artist that brings so much life to their live performances. The energy that her and her brother bring to the stage is captivating. Also, the incorporation of the subtle choreography that she brings to certain songs is so pleasing to the eye. Definitely strongly suggest checking her out in concert once the apocalypse is over. She is super relatable and performs in an extremely down to earth way.
Arlo Parks goes beyond captivating. Her voice and lyrics stir so much emotion and are so tender. She is my main queer inspiration as an artist! When you see her live she seriously is so unbelievably entrancing. Her music has such an old soul energy about it. Listening to her voice brings me so much comfort hence why I’m so addicted to her tracks. I could listen to Arlo all day long.
