Corey:
One of the bands we would love to go out with would be Slipknot. Like so many Generation Y kids, Slipknot was one of the bands that pulled us into the world of heavier music. Their theatrics and raw sound really create a larger than life live show, and the culture that they’ve managed to create within their fan base makes them a titan in the musical world. To share a stage with them would be the highest honor for a band in our genre.
Secondly, Avenged Sevenfold would be a dream to go on the road with. This is the band that pushed me to write music. They were my first live show at the Taste of Chaos tour in 2008, and the energy they brought really left an impression on me. Since I first saw them they’ve only gotten bigger and better, and the progression of their live show is a testament to their musical ability. To be able to open for them would be a learning experience, and a real dream come true.
Jordan:
Tool; the band that has showed thousands that there is always room for progression and instrumental jams. Their influence has spanned multiple generations and has set the stage for younger musicians to embrace being different in writing, performance, and personality. The range of dynamics used in their music has never failed to impress. An opportunity to perform with them would be a once in a life time chance.
Michael:
The first group I have to mention here has to be Underoath. I remember hearing them on a Warped Tour compilation I got for my birthday years and years ago and it completely changed the way I view and approached music as a whole. They innovated their genre with every release and influenced some of the greats that have come since then. To hit the road with those guys would be completely surreal.
The second band I would have to say would be a dream so to speak would be Periphery. Most of the bands I have played for up to this point I’ve been the drummer and Matt Halpern was always such a huge influencer for me in the style I played with and overall technique. They are also a band I base a lot of my tones off os so to get to watch them night to night and pick their brains when it comes to gear would be incredible.
