Lily and the Parlour Tricks – TOUR TIPS

Lily and the Parlour Tricks is a rock ‘n roll band from New York City and they have some awesome Tour Tips that they want to share with you. You can check out the tips after the break.

1. Immediately start flirting with sound person upon arriving at the venue, regardless of gender or sexual orientation
2.      a. Chocolate-covered pretzels are the solution to most conflicts on the road, domestic or foreign
b. Just because you have a jar of Nutella doesn’t mean you have to finish it on the first day.
3. BET’s “Best of Planet Groove” Mixtape won’t be the only thing you’ll listen to on tour, but you WILL lose your shit every time someone puts it on.
4. Don’t let the drummer drive. Just don’t.
5. If you go to an after party, with making as little eye contact with anyone as possible, take the control of the dance floor immediately. NEVER INTERFERE WITH THE DJ’S PLAYLIST. The DJ is the gate keeper so don’t cross them. Everyone will love you. Free alcohol and a place to crash will follow.
