Little Destroyer – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the indie rock band, Little Destroyer, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

Hi. The bands we would put on our dream tour are The Clash, NIN, Motörhead & (tragic kingdom era) No Doubt. It would kind of be like when Motörhead took The Cure on tour as their opening act (yes, this really happened). Maybe we would put Charli XCX, Kanye, Amyl and the Sniffers and The 1975 on as red herrings so you don’t suspect us of being a hundred years old based on our band choices. Then instead of playing any of our own songs, we’d cover all their hits, in a bid to win the affection of a probably very confused audience. Also, I guess everyone would only get to play like 20-minute sets because we just listed 8 bands and nobody really wants to sit through that much music unless you are a 12-and-a-half-year-old, going to Warped Tour for the first time jacked on uppers, downers, and candy corn. The exception would be for the Clash and Motörhead, who would get to play for as long as they wanted because they contain dead member/all dead members and resurrections are not cheap in 2019.

Speaking of resurrections, I now realize we have to throw Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers into the ring. There’s no way around it, I’m sorry you are now sitting through 10 bands. Here now is a one-word reason for each act:
