Live Like Animals - FIRST CONCERT EVER
Join us as Live Like Animals tell you their first concert stories.
In this First Concert Ever segment, the pop rock band, Live Like Animals, talks about the stories of their first experiences with live music. You can check out the story below:
Ryan's (guitarist) first concert was Motley Crue supported by Alice Cooper in 2015 at Qudos Bank Arena Sydney. "I went with my mum who now goes to all of our shows. I loved it, it was my first experience seeing stage theatrics and, on the down low, drug and alcohol use, not that this is a common theme in our band - it was just a formative moment for a 14 year old and definitely influenced my stage presence today."
Brendan (bass) first concert was Bring Me The Horizon supported by Pierce The Veil and The Chariot in February of 2013 at The Hi-Fi in Sydney. "The setlist was absolutely mental and they played some real deep cuts, look this particular show up. I got separated from my brother because I was underage and had to go in a separate upstairs section. I had no idea kids my age could be so huge and I got bodied in the pit. I sung the words to every song too, probably my dream setlist at the time from every band. The line-up and the performance put on by the bands is a core moment for me for my taste in music and easily the best show I've been to to this day. My brother definitely got me into this taste in music and I've loved emo and metalcore since, can't remember a time when I didn't."
Nic (vocalist) first concert was McFly at the Cambridge Corn Exchange in 2012. "I was in the UK visiting my Dad as I had moved to Australia a year before this. One of the nights I was there, him and my step mum took me to an Italian place in Cambridge. She suggested we check out the Corn Exchange as she used to work there but instead they surprised me with tickets to my favourite band at the time that was playing there and I had no idea. It was a huge moment for me and definitely influenced my decision to pursue music in this band."
