Lizzy Land – DREAM TOUR

I’ve always dreamed of performing on a circle stage. Something you might find at a circus that constantly spins round and round. Assuming I’d be opening in this phase of my fantasies, other acts to follow would include:

Niki & The Dove:
I rarely go more than a few days without playing Niki & The Dove. It’s the kind of music that is hard to get sick of. Malin Dahlstrom is just a badass, and her voice gives me all kinds of nostalgia for a time somewhere in between my childhood and future space. She’s got serious Stevie Nicks moments, but it’s also like she’s singing on another planet? There is something really bouncy about their music and I am always surprised where the songs go.

Francis and the Lights:
Not only did he change his name to Francis Farewell Starlight, but he’s got those instinctually on point don’t give a fuck dance moves to match. I was shown his video “The Top”, and the crush was so real. Farewell, Starlite! is perfect to me (it may be my favorite album of 2016). He’s sort of impossible to look away from. It’s almost like he’s totally unaware anyone is watching him. I’d totally dance with that man.

MØ:
First time I saw MØ perform live was at the Troubador in Los Angeles. Honestly, I hadn’t heard one song of hers and was invited by a friend to help pass out flyers at her show for her appearance at an afterparty. After seeing my fair share of live shows in LA, I can tell you that this was unlike any live show I’d seen. At one point she was climbing the railings above our heads and dangling her unicorn braid directly over my head. You don’t need to have heard of her before to fall completely in love. She puts her whole heart into her performances and completely resurrected me creatively that night. I would love to be a part of the same lineup as that freakishly talented dutch maiden. Not to mention she likes Spice Girls just as much as I do so our pre-show ritual would be a crazy karaoke girl fest- I just know it.
