Lukas Graham’s 2016 Spring North American Tour – GALLERY + REVIEW

The indie rock band, Lukas Graham’s spring North American tour came rolling through Chicago’s Double Door recently and we had a chance to check out the show. You can check out the gallery, after the break.

Lukas Graham’s headlining tour brought them to Double Door in Chicago. They played a sold out show on a Thursday night.

Opening for them was Daye Jack. With him was a DJ spinning the music as he rapped. He had a lot of energy and was making sure to get the crowd pumped for the night. He performed his own mixes and was around after the show talking to everyone.

Once Lukas Graham came on stage, everyone was jumping and cheering. Lead singer, Lukas, told everyone how his mother was at the show and how thankful he and the band were for everyone showing up and all the love. The whole band was all smiles and laughter throughout the set, bantering not only with each other but with the crowd as well. They seemed so at ease on stage and you could tell they were very close with one another. With all the stories and thanks Lukas gave, by the end of the night everyone felt more like family than strangers. Playing songs such as “7 Years”, “Happy Home”, “Mama Said”, “Better than Yourself”, “Only One Nice Guy”, “Take the World by Storm”, “What Happened to Perfect”, and many more, it seemed like the night wasn’t going to end. “The best time of your life has to be now,” said Lukas to the crowd at one point and I think he and the rest of the band brought the best time to Chicago that night.
