Maddi Jane – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the pop artist, Maddi Jane, shares the acts that she would include on her ultimate tour lineup. You can check out her picks, after the break.

All right so the ideal genre for my dream tour would be pop/R&B. I would want the focus of the night to be genuine love of music. I would want a balanced range of good jams and songs that touch the heart. I’d have Maroon 5 headlining, playing some of their new jams but definitely their old ones also. I’d have John Legend as one of the main acts because he’s an insanely polished performer. His performance of ‘All of Me’ at the 2014 Grammys is a testimony to that. I have always looked up to him a lot. Plus he’d bring a lot of diverse fans. Oh, and I’d have Tori Kelly as an opening act. Seeing her at House of Blues last year was so fun and also humbling. She’s crazy good and would fit right in with that crowd. The other opening act would be Nico and Vinz. Love them. Then I’d throw in Miguel because I like him and he’s good live. Also maybe Childish Gambino. I don’t listen to him all that much, but I think he’d pull a good addition to the crowd and provide some good jams. Oh, and I’d have to fit Disclosure in somewhere in the middle. Also, Sam Smith. He’d probably go on right before John Legend. Okay, so that’s a lot of artists. Each one has something unique to offer, but they all have one thing in common; which is authentic talent and a genuine love for music which translates to every note they play on stage. I would be thrilled to even observe these artists from backstage. Opening for them would be a dream come true.
