I picture myself touring with The Band. One of the most talented bands that have ever existed. When they played their last show – The Last Waltz in 1976 – they invited many of my biggest heroes to join them on stage: Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and many more. I have always dreamt of touring with other artists like they did back in the day: one band and a bunch of artists driving around the country in a caravan. Partying, writing songs, getting to know each other, and basically learning from the way the other artists were doing their thing.

If I could, I would put together a tour like that with a mix of all artists from today and my favorites from The Last Waltz. I would bring Amy Winehouse, Jeff Buckley, Janis Joplin, Adele, Thom Yorke, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Billie Eilish, Frank Ocean, David Bowie, Kacey Musgraves, and Bon Iver. I’m a big admirer of all of them and I can only imagine that it would be a mind-blowing experience to jam with them every night. All of the above have the ability to plug into something far beyond comprehension and touch your heart and soul the minute they start singing.
