Marian Mereba – TOUR TIPS

This new set of Tour Tips was written by the pop artist, Marian Mereba. You can check out her tips for being on the road, after the break.

I’m definitely still learning a lot when it comes to touring but here are a few tips I picked up in France:

1. Learn enough of the language spoken in whatever city you’re in to say a few things to the audience in their native tongue.

2. Get sleep almost every chance you get because traveling takes its toll on your energy.

3. Find a way to eat fruits and vegetables despite the usual lack thereof (hotel breakfast or a banana/fruit smoothie from the gas station.)

4. Keep a solid playlist or two that you can listen to on your phone on the tour bus, it’s good to go to a different space than everyone else for a little while.

5. Take pictures!
