Me Like Bees – 1st ROAD BLOG from “Mid Winter’s Nights Dream Acoustik Tour” with Never Shout Never

The indie rock band, Me Like Bees, are currently on tour with Never Shout Never and Hayley Kiyoko, as a part of the “Mid Winter’s Nights Dream Acoustik Tour.” While they’re on this tour, they’ll be doing an exclusive blog for us. You can check out their first entry, after the break.

A couple months back, I got a call from Chris Ingle asking us if we wanted to go on an acoustic tour with NSN. Even though we haven’t really played that much as acoustic band, we worked out an acoustic set and hit the road last week. So far, this tour has been amazing! We’ve played to great crowds in Santa Ana, Hollywood, Salt Lake, and Denver. We’ve made new friends in the crew of Hayley Kioko, and got to hang out with old friends in Never Shout.

We’ve also enjoyed listening to Ian Crawford warm up his vocals to the “Alrighty Then” chant found in Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls. It truly has been the highlight of the trip for me.

We hung out in Vegas for a day between LA and Salt Lake. We watched our merch guy Jake run circles around the dealer at a blackjack table.
