This is something we have thought of a lot in our time together. We are dreamers and we often think of what it would be like to tour in the 70's with our favorite artists of then and now. All bets off, no holds bard, here is the lineup! Our dream tour would be first and foremost with Linda Ronstadt and the Eagles as the backing band. Pepper in a cameo by The Band and that would be just about perfection. The Band and The Eagles songwriting is some of our favorite and then you add their musicianship and harmonies and it's heaven. Linda made every song her own and her voice is effortless, but also so full of spirit. And to have a little of the Canyon magic in our lives would be incredible.

Then to incorporate the artists of now to this allstar tour, we'd have Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow & Jason Isbell. It would be church on stage and to think of all that we could learn from all of these incredible artists is hard to wrap your brain around! And to sit in a room with all of them after the show would be the greatest high. (And dang, can you imagine the WARDROBE on this tour??). To sing with these strong women would be so validating and an honor. Then here comes the mighty encore of all of us on stage busting out Hotel California and Shane and Isbell rocking the harmony guitar solos with Joe Walsh and the rest of the gang rooting us on.

I think the final part of this dream tour is to have a big room of people singing along with the whole band. That community is what fuels us and to even imagine that is pretty wild. But, we do dream of it, like we said, we are dreamers and it can't happen unless you see it in your mind's eye.
