Michael Rose – DREAM TOUR

My dream tour would be to headline a massive super tour of Biffy Clyro, Muse, Foo Fighters and John Mayer. So basically just all of my heroes in one place. (If Paramore and would still be rock band – I’d love to include them in there as well.) I mean, my mind is just going nuts thinking about how f***ing epic that final song would be. Imagine the craziest rock jam ever with Matt blazing on the keyboard, Dave beating the piss out of those drums and John, Simon and myself trading guitar solos… If this could ever happen I think I could just die right then and there. What song would we play? Well, it would have to be the most epic, heavy and beautiful version of Bohemian Rhapsody ever recorded. We would all make Freddie proud, looking down from heaven.

I have so much to say to all of those guys. They have basically created me as an artist. I straight up learned to sing from listening to Matt. Dave taught me leadership and songwriting, John taught me guitar and Simon taught me that it’s ok to be yourself – even if you’re a little weird. All of their work has profoundly impacted me as an artist and as a person. Other honorable mentions are the guys from System Of A Down and Linkin’ Park. I know for sure that my life would be completely different had I not encountered their music when I did.

My only hope is that I would be able to give something back to them, musically or otherwise. I know that people say “be careful wishing to meet your heroes, they might disappoint you” – but I know that that with these guys, it won’t be the case. Instead, I hope that I myself could keep it together when I meet them all and not go bananas like the NINTENDO 64 kid. Oh, who am I kidding – there’s no chance I’ll be able to stay with it. I’ll probably become a meme myself haha..
