MYFEVER – DREAM TOUR

A dream tour is such a fun thing to consider for a few moments because it’s dreaming that got me into music in the first place and dreaming remains the primary source of inspiration to keep me moving forward.

The first band that popped into my mind for a dream tour is Radiohead. They’ve been a constant creative compass for me. If I’m in a writers rut or feel like I’m confused about my musical identity I listen to Amnesiac and immediately remember it’s okay to be weird. The chance to tour with them would be unreal.

Coldplay would be a close second, primarily because their live show has insane energy. Any opportunity to glean wisdom from them and see the show multiple nights in a row would be incredible. Also, Chris Martin seems like such a kind soul.

Have to add some honorable mentions: An opening arena tour slot with reunited Oasis. Playing guitar in The Band when they were Dylan’s backing band, playing guitar OR opening for any Ryan Adams tour, and a tour with Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band where I get to sing a song with the boss!

As for geography, I would want the tour to be through Europe for sure. I’d like to hit most of the metropolitan areas, but it would also be cool to get off the beaten path and play some smaller more intimate clubs. There are a couple givens on the tour also: Glastonbury and Wembley Stadium. Gotta do em. I think that just about covers all the bases!
