Our dream tour would literally span pages and would cover more locations than all of our combined fingers – just for the bands that are still touring today.
Coming from a tiny country in the Southern Hemisphere, we all grew up listening to the greats: Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Tool, Jeff Buckley, and Queens of the Stone Age (and that’s just to name a few.) That being said, a line-up like that would probably be detrimental – we’d end up skipping our own set so we could be the first to the front to see them.
Some younger bands that we would love to tour the US and Canada with would be The Dear Hunter, From Indian Lakes, HRVRD (if we could get those guys to tour again) and Chon. Our music has taken strong influences from these bands – it would be an amazing experience to be able to travel across North America with these groups to see what inspires their music, and to soak up some of the sights and sounds of a totally different world.
Our dream tour would then end with us bringing all of our new found tour buddies back to New Zealand for a bit of a shindig, with beaches, barbecues and a lot of sunburns. We’d travel the length of the country playing in towns from Kaitaia to Bluff, and show them all the amazing places that weren’t featured in Lord of the Rings.
Keep up with the band on Facebook!
