Our dream tour would consist of 3 other bands who come from the same music genre to us but still unique in their own way which would make an entertaining line up.
The bands on our dream tour would be St.Lucia for the multitude of synth sounds and the energy they bring to their shows. The front man, Jean-Philip Grobler is very energetic and has the ability to really get the crowd moving. He is very likable and talks to the fans, this all creates a very lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
Secondly, The Naked And Famous for their stage presence and incredible vocals. The relationship between lead singer, Alisa Xayalith and guitarist, Thom Powers pulls you into each song and connects to you as an individual. They have a nice balance between slow, atmospheric songs and big crowd pleasers such as their most recent singer, Higher.
It’s hard to pick a headliner but I guess, lastly, we would have M83 as the closing act. They have a wide range of synth sounds, vocal styles and tracks that swap between their beautiful atmospheric instrumentals to their huge singles such as Kim and Jesse. This is accompanied by a light show that is also very entertaining so there really is something for everyone.
Our dream tour would ideally cover the US, Europe and UK.
We would start on the west coast of America, making sure we play Coachella and travel across to the east coast before leaving. After finishing the east coast of America, we would fly over to Europe and play shows in Paris and possibly to Germany to do Rock AM Ring.
Coming to the end of the tour, we would fly to The UK and play various shows including Scotland, then heading south to play cities such as Manchester and Leeds. If the timing is right then we could hopefully play a few festivals, including Glastonbury and Reading and Leeds. We would leave London, our hometown, last; playing a show at The O2.
Our last show would be our most epic.
We would start with our single Where We Were Before, followed by a mix of old favorites and introducing a few newbies. We would finish our set with Don’t Let Go, hopefully having a few guests from each of the bands up on stage. St Lucia on guitars, M83 on synth and Alisa singing the chorus.
That’s the dream!
