New Years Day – TOUR TIPS

California natives, New Years Day, were kind enough to write a set of Tour Tips for you guys to learn from. You can check them out after the break.

1. Baby wipes and dry shampoo REALLY DO WORK. Go to Costco and buy in bulk!
2. It never fails: you WILL lose both your car AND wall charger for your phone! Bite the bullet and buy a back up! You’ll be glad you did.
3. Don’t bring items you will cry over if you lose them on the road. Leave your favorite beanie you’ve had for years and Grandma’s heirloom ring at home, no matter how cool it looks on stage.
4. Pack light! Seriously, sometimes those walks from venue to van or van to hotel are waaay too long when you have a heavy suitcase filled with socks.
5. You may not want to spend the money, but get the van’s engine checked AS MUCH as possible! Twice a week if you can! It might just be the reason you make it home safe!
