NEWMEDS

In this Dream Tour segment, the metalcore band, NEWMEDS, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

Mark’s choices:
The Bronx
I’d love Newmeds to tour with a band like The Bronx purely because they have so much energy in their songs and they’ve got the grasp of making their songs totally timeless. I could be in any mood and The Bronx know how to either make any situation better. I think that’s a really rare quality. They’re my ideal modern hard rock band.
Every Time I Die
If you’ve not heard of ETID then everyone should do themselves a favour by buying a ticket right now or at least watch their live shows online. They’re a sheer sonic force, a total spectacle and outrageously catchy. They’re the perfect balance of hardcore punk and southern rock and their fan base is absolutely die hard. It’d be an absolute no brainer for Newmeds to share a stage if we were lucky enough. They also look like they know how to party, which is very important.
Nick’s choice:
Highly Suspect
This comes from every single person in the band. Sam introduced us to them, and ever since they’ve been the go-to band in the van, at practice, in the bar, wherever we get a chance to listen to them. They are a proper rock band in my eyes. Sharing whiskey on stage talking about drinking, drugs and generally not giving a shit what anyone thinks about them. They have this really dark emotive sound that is quite haunting at times. Every song makes me want to dissect the lyrics, as a lot of them hit home. Johnny’s voice is incredible too, and he is a cool character. They seem very hands-on with the way they shoot videos and put out imagery etc. We are the same in the way that we have a vision and the passion shines through it, that’s something that cannot be faked. Cannot wait for the new album. Check the video for Lydia if you get a chance.

Keep up with the band on Facebook and Instagram.
