Night Argent – TOUR TIPS

In this Tour Tips segment, the alternative pop band, Night Argent, give you their tips for being on tour. You can check out the feature, after the break.

1. Two words: Gold Bond.
Unless your band travels on a tour bus, showers are not always easy to come by. Even if you ARE on a bus, you’re in close proximity to a bunch of other people, you gotta keep it fresh. Bring foot powder so your van/bus/clown car doesn’t smell like a locker room/morgue/rodeo. – Evan Taylor, Bass
2. Explore
Don’t let yourself get too wrapped in the daily repetition of eat/sleep/show/repeat. Make time to explore the surrounding areas in between shows. Schedule some travel days specifically for getting out, being active, and exploring new locations. It’s important to give your eyes and ears something they haven’t experienced before as a palate cleanser for your creativity. It also gives you time to refocus yourself and get reenergized for the upcoming shows. – Chase Manhattan, Vocals
3. Always play your best show
No matter what stage you’re at in your career, or how many fans are in front of the stage, always play your best show. Always play as if there are hundreds of thousands of people in the crowd, even if there’s only one. If you ever do have a smaller crowd never make them feel like their not worthy of your best performance. Giving it your all every show will also make you a better artist and entertainer overall. – Chase Manhattan + Shane Santanna, Vocals and Keys
4. Stay healthy.
Exercise and eat right not only during tour, but beforehand. If you start off healthy, it’ll be a lot easier to maintain. And with the strain touring and traveling places on your body, you want to be physically prepared. – Shane Santanna, Keys
5. Bring a refillable water bottle.
It saves you so much money throughout a whole trip, not to mention you don’t have to buy plastic water bottles in bulk. – Jeff Stachofsky, Guitar
