We were in the middle of a small tour promoting a festival we were playing in Wisconsin when I finally experienced Dylan’s famous sleepwalking. The festival provided us with a camping trailer to sleep in while we were there. The trailer had 2 beds so Dylan, Nate, Alastair (our sound guy) and myself had to pair up and share a bed. We’ve always bunked together but this was the first time I ever shared the same bed with Dylan.
It was probably around 4am when I was woken up by a flashlight shining right into my eyes. I woke up to find all the blankets and pillows stripped from the bed and Dylan standing over me with his phone flashlight shining in my face. Still half asleep I asked him what the hell was going on, he continued to just stare at me, flashlight in hand for about 30 seconds before finally replying “I’m just checking”. He then took the light out of my eyes and stood there until I asked him where all the blankets and pillows went. He proceeded to shrug and walk away from me before finally going to sleep on the floor. As you can imagine I was like “What the fuck just happened”. I got up to try and find where he had stashed all the blankets and pillows so that I could try and sleep after this weird event. Turns out he was keeping everything in the TV cabinet for “safekeeping”.
When we both woke up in the morning I asked him if he remembered anything from last night. All he could remember was having a dream where I was possibly a clone or a spy so he had to check and see if it was really me beside him. Since then I have been part of more sleepwalking adventures and they just keep getting more and more interesting. I don’t think I’ll ever share a bed with him in a trailer in Wisconsin again though.

Keep up with the band on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
