Dangerkids – First and foremost we love this band. Not only are they some of the hardest working people in the music scene today, they are also some of our closest friends. It’s been a dream of our to work with them and being on the road with a band that has just as much energy as us live would be amazing. We’d just watch them win over crowd after crowd each night with their passion for music. Granted they would far and away be the heaviest band on this bill but with the way they blend Rock, Hip Hop, Electronica and Pop we’re confident they’d offer something that would get the crowd hyped up for all the other bands to come. Plus with us on the road with our friends, you’re bound to have an amazing end of tour prank! Seriously, do NOT sleep on Dangerkids. Check out their new amazing album blacklist_ and their hit single “Kill Everything” here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_cpe6iMi24
Paper Route – Our vocalist German brought this band to our attention. I remember seeing them years ago in a small venue and was blown away. The thing that stands out is their stage presence. JT, their vocalist just oozes charisma and you believe every single word he sings. He’s lived whatever he’s speaking first hand and there’s an authenticity that exists. Paper Route is also a creative force on stage they play everything live. That is no small feat. Tons of synths, multiple guitars, a saxophone, and two drum kits…whether it’s a small venue or a stadium, this band doesn’t disappoint. Their particular brand of indie-pop/electronica fires on all cylinders. It would be awesome just to watch them every single night and listen them play our favorite songs “Dancing On Our Graves”, “Untitled”, “Letting You Let Go”, “Calm My Soul”, “Real Emotion”, and their latest single “Balconies”…matter of fact. We’ll just write their setlist for them!
Jimmy Eat World – There’s nothing that needs to be said. They’re our heroes. They belong on any tour they want. We’d be honored to share a stage with them every single night. There’s so much we could learn from them. If Jimmy Eat World didn’t exist I can confidently say that Otenki wouldn’t either. They’re hands down the biggest influence on us as songwriters. Every single album they’ve put out has a place in our hearts!
Acceptance – Honestly this feels like a no-brainer. Acceptance is one of the best bands we have ever seen live. I could listen to Jason Vena sing all the words on the internet and would not grow tired of it. We’ve had the pleasure of making friends with this band so, like Dangerkids, it would be awesome just to hang out and see our friends do their thing night after night. Christian their guitarist has to be one of the most entertaining musicians to watch. He’s just in a trance when he plays and it has made me (Enoma, Otenki’s guitarist) step my game live. That dude just rocks it out and that passion in undeniable.
Imagine Dragons – This band is so interesting to us. Not a single song they have out sounds like the one before it. Imagine Dragons have done their own thing from the jump and we respect that so much. Their live show can’t be matched. It’s a pure spectacle and their songs are just so catchy. I’ve never seen a band so unashamed of being themselves. Wherever they derive influence from they just put it into the songs. Doesn’t matter if it’s cool…just matters that it resonates with them. There’s a bravery there for sure. Plus I want to see if they’ll let us bang that big drum for “Radioactive” or “Shots”.

Keep up with the band on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
