Overstreet – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, the indie pop artist, Overstreet, shares one of his stories from being on the road. You can check out the story, after the break.

Oh, man. I have a good one. I was on the Glee Live! tour in 2011 and we did a run through the United Kingdom. For our London stop of the tour, we played five consecutive sold-out shows at the O2 Arena. One of those show days was not like the others!

As we did every morning while we were on tour, we loaded up in a van and left the hotel to head over to the venue for soundcheck. We went through our daily soundcheck routine and jumped back in the van to head back to the hotel. I was really jet-lagged and exhausted from the non-stop touring schedule, so I decided to head back to my room to rest and clean up before the show that night.

When I got back to my room, I opened the door and walked in like I always do. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a girl sitting on the edge of my bed holding a picture of me. Obviously freaked out, I immediately turned around and walked out of the room. I found security and told them that a fan had broken into my hotel room and they went to check. We aren’t sure, but we think that someone who worked at the hotel knew that it was my room and let their daughter in while I was gone. They got the girl out of my room and there were no real issues; other than the fact that half of my underwear was missing afterward!
