P O P F I L T E R – DREAM TOUR

With P O P F I L T E R, we’re always striving to make our shows more than just a band playing songs. We want to be entertainers, performers. We want the audience to leave with a new sense of what’s possible for a band to do. And although we’re not quite to that point yet, every show is getting better better and it’s because of a few different artists that have inspired us to shoot big and make every show better than the last. On our dream tour, we would open and next up would be:
WALK THE MOON (Brian)
I discovered them during my formative college years. Their music is both nostalgic and evokes copious amounts of booty shaking. They’ve used their success as a platform to promote positive social change in an artistic, yet easy to consume medium.
THE CURE (Brad)
First, their lyrics alone are some of the most poetic I know of from a pop genre band. Their use of the synth was way ahead of its time with the way they used sounds and tones to change the landscape of a song. They were able to really start a movement and scene with the combination of their image and music.
COLDPLAY (Mason)
They have such an uplifting and inspiring atmosphere during their shows. I had the chance to see them at Pepsi Center in Denver last year, and it really changed my perspective on what is possible during a live music performance. I also realized how many great songs they have and how long they’ve been relevant as a band. It’s amazing for four people to stay together as a group that long. I also loved the synced light-up bracelets that everyone in the audience wore during the show. It really made you feel like you were a part of it and not just an observer.

Keep up with the band on Facebook and Twitter!
