Parker Bossley – CRAZY TOUR STORIES

In this Crazy Tour Stories segment, the indie rock artist, Parker Bossley, shares one of his stories from being on the road. You can check out the story, after the break.

We were playing at an ‘Ugly Coyote’ type Club/Casino and after our show, we left our laptops in the (security guarded) green room and rambled around the casino.  When we came back, lo and behold, all of our valuables had been stolen.

My wine inflated 2am senses insisted that something was rotten in Denmark, and I demanded to speak to the manager.  He wouldn’t show us the security tapes of the room.  After well over an hour of arguing with him he finally called the head of security, who finally called in the Casino’s ‘private eye’.  Reviewing the tapes, it turned out to be an inside job as I had suspected. The nefarious employee had stashed the laptops and gear in a dumpster outside (and spilled ranch sauce on my favourite blazer).

Though it was a victory because we got our gear back, we still had to sift through a dumpster, so not as sweet of a victory as I had originally hoped. Such is life on the road– every rose has it’s thorn.
