In this Dream Tour segment, the a cappella artist, Peter Hollens, shares the acts that he would include on his ultimate tour lineup. You can check out his picks, after the break.
#1 – I would have adored to be able to sing with and watch and hear Luciano Pavarotti sing from backstage. You can check him out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOfC9LfR3PI — If I could have been one of the three tenors that would have made the choir boy in me freak out. My screen name on AIM back in the day was “Pavarotti4” :) But shhh! Don’t tell anyone ;)
#2 – Being able to tour with either the The Piano Guys or Lindsey Stirling would be an absolute treat for multiple reasons. Not only are they absolutely phenomenal performers and musicians, but they are some of the nicest most family oriented people I know… Being able to spend time with them away from my own family would make the experience absolutely amazing. I’ve admired watching these musicians handle their rise to fame with such grace and humility.
#3 – Sara Bareilles – My wife and I have gone to see her perform twice in the last year, and we just absolutely adore her, and her music. I think I would love to tour with her. Not only does she have a cappella in her background (as a judge on the Sing Off), but also as a member of her college a cappella group. I had the pleasure of hearing Sara sing her version of “Gravity” at an a cappella festival with her group UCLA Awaken before her rise to stardom, you knew back then that she was something incredibly special.
