Our dream tour is an exclusive festival set in residential backyards all over the world — major BBQ vibes with nothing but good hangs, delicious food, and endless IPA on tap.
Twenty One Pilots and PuffHost co-headline, with a special reunion set from The Beastie Boys to precede. Support from Oliver Tree, Watsky, Rex Orange County, Still Woozy, and Sam Henshaw would keep things interesting after the Bloodhound Gang performs a modest two-song set at 2 PM, rocking ONLY “Bad Touch” and “Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo” just for the bit.
GORILLAZ show up, but they’re not animated, so people just think they are normal concert-goers. We don’t even know it’s them until they cut us off mid-convo to say, “We’re on dudes! Hope to catch you later after the set,” as they trek backstage and morph into animated characters on our lawn.
Everyone “Feels Good” and the vibe is instantly elevated as Coldplay and Death Cab For Cutie show up LATE, asking our permission to do a low-key acoustic set inside the house later in the night. Of course, it’s cool with us. After their sets wrap up, Eminem makes his way into the living room to recreate the final scene of 8 Mile while Snoop Dogg nods his head at us from the back of the kitchen. David Gilmour and Roger Waters are having a cigar on the porch, debating a Pink Floyd reunion just “for the occasion” but would rather just enjoy our company — totally fair. It’s a dope tour.
