Join us as pulses. reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup
In this Dream Tour segment, the post-hardcore band, pulses., reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks below:
Caleb: A dream lineup for me would be nightlife, Bad Rabbits, Issues, and letlive. coming back for a reunion. Me really coming into the scene in the early 2010s seeing the latter three bands really made me feel like I had a place seeing POC playing in these bands and really pushing the envelope. Growing up I was always listening to R&B and Hip Hop, and just seeing that ethos in them while also blending in the hardcore elements was something that inspired me to want to incorporate those elements in our music as well. Without them, pulses. wouldn’t be the way it is. nightlife is a newer band alongside us that I feel like is really pushing that same mindset, and I would love to be able to foster that with them.
Matt: For my dream tour that I’d like to be a part of, I’d start with us opening, then go with The Callous Daoboys as 2nd of 4. They’re one of my favorite newer bands & we’ve wanted to tour with them for a while. The hangs would be immaculate & watching them every night would be a blast. Then for direct support, I’d go with Stray From The Path. They’re always fun to watch live & seem like a fun group to be around. Then for the headliner, I’d have to go with Enter Shikari. They’re my favorite band of all time and my favorite band to watch live. They don’t tour the states a lot so I only get to see them once a year or two, so seeing them every night would be a dream.
Kevin: My dream tourmates would be Paramore, Thursday, Head Automatica, and With Sails Ahead. I think it'd be a night of diverse sounds that somehow make sense together and a lineup where I really respect the folks playing the music as much as the music itself. For those not familiar with With Sails Ahead, you should be. They're our best friends and make dope music.
David: I would really enjoy going on tour with The Acacia Strain, Erra, and a reunited iwrestledabearonce. Even though those bands are much heavier than us, I really enjoy their music and would love to see them play night after night.
