RARIA – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the electro pop artist, RARIA, reveals who she would want on her ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.

I’d kick things off on my dream tour with Lauv! He’s a MUST-have on the lineup. I’ve gotten so much inspiration from his songwriting over the years and have always looked up to him as an artist. He says things exactly how they are; no cheesy metaphors, no sugar coating. You feel like you’re listening to his personal thoughts and conversations through his music and I find that so cool. Being a true artist means being transparent and vulnerable and Lauv is the perfect example of that. I saw his show in Melbourne and it was such a dream come true. The transition from his sad/love pop songs into my sad/love pop songs would keep the crowd dancing and crying all night. Plus, I think he’d just be so cool to hang out with!!! Maybe someday soon?

The second artist on the lineup would be the incredible Jeremy Zucker. I have a huge thing for conversational lyrics. And just like Lauv, Jeremy is one of the most diverse songwriters in this new generation of artists. I don’t know how he does it but his music makes me feel so sad but so happy at the same time! His lyrics are so raw and always strike a chord in me, and I’m always impressed by artists who produce their own music; his productions are so minimal but have just enough in them to make me want to dance at 3 am.

Lastly, and this would be a long shot because this man is SO busy releasing music and touring BUT I would have to invite Khalid! I think I’d faint if I met him. I’ve been in love with his voice for years now and his music never disappoints. He works so hard and is so well-respected across many genres; I aspire to be as hard-working and versatile as he is!
