In this Preshow Rituals segment, the alternative rock band, Ravenscode, reveals what they do before taking the stage. You can check out the story, after the break.
In order for the four of us to come together and give the audience the best show possible, there are a few things that each of us does before a show.
Brian (Vocals/Guitar) will find a washroom and warm up the voice by singing scales, arpeggio style. It’s a lot of fun watching people come out of the washroom after enduring those sessions.
For Michael (Bass) to bring the energy he does to the set, he will jump up and down to try and get the blood flowing. He might throw a punch or two depending on how big the crowd is.
Justin (Vocals/Guitar) is the nervous type. Doesn’t matter how many shows he has played or how many people he has played in front of before. The first thing he does is panic. Then after that, he will tune each guitar, usually 4 electric and one acoustic, to make sure they are perfect. Then he will proceed to do that two more times for each guitar.
Drew (Drums) will take some drum sticks and play on things. He is very chic before a show. You will probably catch him mingling or hanging with the bands that we are sharing the stage with.
