Ray Goren – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the R&B rock artist, Ray Goren, shares the acts that he would include on his ultimate tour lineup. You can check out his picks, after the break.

1) First I would include Jimi Hendrix, besides being an influence, I think that almost 50 years later he is one of the most creative guitar players. With Hendrix it is not about how fast one can play or how many notes. Almost each solo is its own creative body of work, its own symphony. I think for me watching him live and his interaction with the crowed would be an emotional and learning experience.

2) Donny Hathaway – I think he sings with such feel, passion, intensity that he unique.. Still today I can’t find anyone that sings like him. I would love to watch, learn and enjoy

3) Finally, I would love to include Michael Jackson in my line-up. Michael was an explosive performer, with an amazing voice with great songs. I would enjoy watching him perform.

Each of these performers have inspired me and many others. I think each has also contributed to the evolution of music. It would be an amazing experience for me and one that I would love to share.
