In this Dream Tour segment, the metalcore band, Resistor, reveals who they would want on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out their picks, after the break.
How’s it going, everyone! I’m Gary, bassist of Resistor. I’m sure the rest of the guys might have a different idea of who’d they want on a dream tour. But it looks like this time, I’m calling the shots! ?
First up would be Resistor as the opener, truth be told, I wouldn’t feel right playing after these acts! I definitely think we can warm up the stage with our energetic performances for the legends I’m about to mention.
Up next, would have to be Loathe. I’ve been a fan of the band since 2016! Release after release, this band can’t do any wrong in my eyes (or ears lol) They’re also one of the most groundbreaking in today’s modern heavier genres.
I’d have to say having Knocked Loose up 3rd would be the ideal way to have everyone second-guessing themselves as to what exactly just happened. The band is absolutely bonkers live, and I’m sure the audience would reciprocate even wilder.
4th on the bill would have to be Deftones. I can’t believe I’ve listened to these gents since 2000. This band has literally kicked ass for so many years! It’s always been a dream of mine to hit the road and murder stages by day with them. Most of my influences in music are thanks to them and Linkin Park (RIP CHESTER!!).
Last but not least, the closer would have to be the one and only Slipknot. The Knot has stood the test of time and I saw them back in 2019. They were so good live, and to be honest, they are the Metallica of my generation.
And there you have it! My dream tour! It’s probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but I’d have a blast playing alongside these bands every night!
