Revocation – DREAM TOUR

Living or Dead?

1. Frank Zappa
2. Rush
3. Strapping Young Lad
4. Don Caballero
5. Burnt by the Sun
6. Revocation

So as a disclaimer, Revocation would be opening this dream tour, we’d play our newest record in its entirety and some other hits, then I would be free to watch the rest of the show and drink. This list is from headliner down to opener.

Okay, first of all, Frank Zappa would be headlining, I’ve been a huge fan for about 12 years, have seen ZPZ lots and lots of times (I even dressed as Tony Clifton and did a skit with them once) and would love to tour with Frank.

Next, Rush would pop out of a Time Machine from 1981 and play their whole discography up to Moving Pictures of course. Of course, I would come up and play, hmmmmmm Cygnus X1-Book 2, all 20+ minutes of it.

Then, Strapping Young Lad would get back together, do another record, then hop on this tour and play a bevy of hits and melt the faces off ever single poser in the audience. Easily one of my top metal bands ever and my #1 favorite drummer and old teacher, Mr. Gene Hoglan.

Then for some (mostly) instrumental music. Don Caballero features one of my top 5 favorite drummers ever, Damon Che. They would play World Class Listening Problem in its entirety and a whole bunch of other choice cuts. Then Damon and I would do a drum duet together.

Then finally, the band after we open features my second favorite metal drummer ever and one of the bands I was most influenced by, Burnt By the Sun. They too would reunite and play their entire discography, I would come up and sub off Dave Witte on drums for, ohhhh let’s say 5 songs, or possibly an entire album, give him a break ya know?

So there you have my dream tour, I’m sure a few were left out, but in the interest of quality, this is my dream tour.

Keep up with the band on Facebook and Twitter!
