Rival Summers – 1st ROAD BLOG from the Faces Of The Fight Tour

Leo Bautista, also known as Rival Summers, is an acoustic pop artist from Sterling Heights, Michigan! Currently, he is supporting Chase Coy on the Faces Of The Fight Tour that will be hitting many major U.S. cities this summer. Check out Leo’s first of a series of “Road Blogs” that he will be doing for us while he is out on this tour after the break.

Hey guys,

I’m Leo or Rival Summers if you prefer. I’ll be bloggin’ here and there letting you know what we’re all up to on the Faces Of The Fight Tour. Chase Coy is also on this tour and we’re headed out with an organization called Love Can’t Be Baht, sharing stories and spreading awareness that human trafficking is not just a problem overseas, but even here in the United States. It’s gonna be a great three weeks so I’m excited to tell you all about it.

Indianapolis was the first stop of tour, so me, my mom and dad, and my dog packed up my little turtle car Franklin and drove the four hours and 46 minutes to get there. Michigan’s weather is really something else and it was pretty cold when we left, but the second we passed through into Indiana, it was like driving into an oven. We got to the ES Jungle pretty early so we went and checked into our hotel, got some food, then went back and got ready for the show.

This was my first show in Indiana so I was really happy with how it went. Everyone was so nice and all the locals were really talented (definitely check out Journals, Late Nite Reading, and The Cutouts). I’m really lucky to be out with Chase again, him and Lee are my buds and I’m stoked for some quality hang outs especially since Tyler of Love Can’t Be Baht’s gonna be out with us too. I just met him yesterday and I can already tell we’ll be homies.

Basically, first day of tour was good stuff. This is my first long tour so I’m excited to see what happens from here. Definitely check back with me here on Digital Tour Bus and check my Facebook to see if we’ll be headed to your city!
