RKCB – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the R&B duo, RKCB, let you know who they would like on their ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

Since we started touring a little under a year ago, we haven’t been able to get enough of it. Our first time on the road was spent with our good friend Gallant, which was one of the most amazing experiences we’ve had as a band. Ever since then we’ve been dreaming up what tour would be like with some of our favorite artists. Below is each of our ideal tour pairings and why we consider them “dream” tours:

Riley:
For me, Paramore is a dream tour pairing for us. I know this might seem a little unexpected to those who are familiar with our music, but in my mind, it would be a diverse show that would blow people away. They have a certain energy, edge, and professionalism that in my mind has been unmatched ever since. When we first started to build our live set, my first thought was “how can we make our music hit like Paramore live”, which was not an easy feat. However, since we’ve been touring, I feel like we’ve built a show that holds its own next to them and would make for a very symbiotic pairing. Hayley if you are reading this.. let’s make it happen.

Casey:
Bon Iver, Caribou, Anderson Paak, Coldplay. Put us on a bill with any of those four and you’ve hit every musical and performing influence for me. Between the sheer musicality of a show like Bon Iver and Cariobu’s and the absolute showmanship of Anderson and/or Chris Martin (albeit in completely different ways), they all seem to center around creating two distinct moments in a show. There are introverted moments and extroverted moments. Stitching a story between those moments is the whole magic of it. Our show has grown so much in the past year and I think it has some of these moments in it… But I always love to see how others do it too. These just happen to be my favorites and they are all masters.
