Hey, I’m Rae and I am one half of rosecoloredworld! I will be taking the lead here on creating this insanely, crazy idea of our ultimate dream tour. Okay, so just a warning that this is going to be quite the rollercoaster mash-up here so strap yourself in for this.
The first band we would add on our dream tour would absolutely be Blink-182. We both love this band and growing up with their music really defined an era of pop punk for us. Addison started playing drums as his first instrument so Travis Barker was everything to him. Since he was a kid he would watch “Urethra Chronicles 2” to get inspired before every local show he played in Long Island. As for me, I won 7th-row tickets on the radio to see them along with The All-American Rejects in my hometown in South Florida. I took my three best friends in middle school and I danced and sweated and yelled at the top of my lungs the entire night. I was so inspired by their energy on stage that I wanted to someday be able to have my own show like that and get people pumped.
Our second artist on this ultimate dream tour would be Yungblud. His live shows look mental and his voice is incredible. The community he has built over the last few years is beautiful and is extremely inclusive to all walks of life. That concept is similar to why we created the name of our band- rosecoloredworld. During the pandemic, he consistently released music and dropped the album “Weird!” The album was co-produced by the legendary Chris Greatti and really sparked something in us for our own music. During this wild time, we were recording at our home studio re-defining our sound sonically. Yungblud was definitely an influence and it would be the biggest manifestation to one day open for him. YUNGBLUD IF YOU READ THIS TAKE US ON TOUR.
The final band that we would add on this dream tour (because we are in the realm of dead old alive) is our biggest inspiration The Beatles. Since a very young age, we both were heavily influenced by this band from how we grew up. Every year Addison would go to the Beatle Fest with his dad and they would listen and sing the songs together. My dad played drums in a classic rock band and they would cover a ton of Beatles songs. My household’s favorite Beatle was Lennon while Addison’s was McCartney. In another universe, if we could be on the same line-up as The Beatles it would be a dream come true. P.S. Addison met Paul McCartney twice.

Keep up with them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
